Event Details: Lake Race 2018 is an action-packed 5 day Lake of the Ozarks extravaganza of excitement. Here’s an overview of the events that will happen that week:
Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 5 – 8 p.m.
Paddle Battle 2018
This is an AWESOME event where teams from across the Lake area race on paddleboards provided by Super Dave’s Paddle Craft Adventures. It’s 25 per team to participate and they also make it fun with a costume contest! Prizes for 1st place, last place, and best costume are given out. This is a family-friendly event that everyone can enjoy. It will take place at Franky & Louie’s which is located at 1028 Deer Valley Rd, in Sunrise Beach (10MM).
Thursday, May 31, 2018, 4 – 10 p.m.
Osage Beach Festival of Speed
The Festival of Speed will feature speedboats, classic cars, motorcycles, vendors, beer, and food. There are also piggy races, pony rides and a dunk tank for the kiddos. This event will take place on Osage Beach Parkway, west of the Grand Glaze Bride.
Friday, June 1, 2018, 4 – 11 p.m.
Lake Race Meet & Greet Street Party
See some of the most incredible powerboats close up on the Bagnell Dam Strip.
Saturday, June 2, 2018, 7 a.m.
Lake Race 5K Run or Walk
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m. The race will start and end at Beaver’s at the Dam. Participants will proceed to JJ Twigs and down Business 54 and eventually will turn around and head back to Beaver’s.
All day: Official Races & Awards Ceremony
Powerboats from across the nation compete for their share of the money. You can view these impressive machines at Beaver’s at the Dam. The boats will run from the 0 mile marker to the 3 mile marker.
Sunday, June 3, 2018, 10 a.m.
Props & Hoses Poker Run
This poker run will start at Beaver’s on the Dam and go to several locations throughout the Lake area. There are $20 raffle tickets available at each location for a 50/50 drawing at the Redhead Yacht Club at 4 p.m. that day.
