The Lake of the Ozarks Shoot Out is Less Than a Month Away!

Lake Ozark Vacation Destinations is excited to announce to all of you lake vacationers that the Lake of the Ozark Shootout is coming up, August 26-27. The Shootout is one of the largest events of the year at the Lake of the Ozarks. In this blog, we are pleased to give you detailed information regarding the Shootout and how to go about booking your dream vacation rental at the Lake of the Ozarks for it.


The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout The Shootout is held at Captain Ron's Bar and Grill at the 33-34.5 mile markers. This is a HUGE event that you CAN NOT miss. There will be top powerboat racers and off shore racing power boats from across the country, topping around 200 miles per hour! This is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators. All of the proceeds will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams and other charitable organizations.
