Bikefest Weekend at the Lake!
This week, motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country make their way to the Lake of the Ozarks for the 16th Annual BikeFest. The event takes place from Wednesday, September 14 to Sunday, September 18 at various locations around the lake. There are 300 participating bars and restaurants, 50 live music and entertainment shows, a vendor village, and so much more! This annual event is expected to draw over 125,000 attendees this year. Lake of the Ozarks
It's no question that the Lake of the Ozarks has some of the most breathtaking scenic views in the Midwest. The rolling Ozark hills and winding waterways make the area an ideal location for motorcycle rides through the beautiful landscape. Most BikeFest attendees follow the Passport Run map to guide their rides throughout the weekend.
CMA Passport Run
The Passport Run is a special charity event that takes place during BikeFest and includes 21 stops around the Lake of the Ozarks. Riders visit each of the 21 stops to receive a passport stamp. When completed, the passport must be turned in to the CMA tent at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson in Osage Beach by the final day of the rally. A winner will be chosen to receive a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Riders do not need to be present at the drawing to win. All proceeds from the Passport Run benefit the Christian Motorcycle Association.

The Hangout
There are many BikeFest events around the lake, but another one worth noting is “The Hangout” hosted by Lake View Terrace. This free street party takes place from Thursday, September 15 to Saturday, September 17 from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Look for the big white tent where you’ll find a beer garden with cornhole boards, a barbeque and shrimp boil, a vendor village, live music, and hourly giveaways and raffles.
