Who's Coming To The Spring Harbor Hop at the Lake of the Ozarks This Year?

The Lake of the Ozarks is FULL of fun events to enjoy year-round. Today, our vacation rental company at the Lake of the Ozarks is here to tell you all about one of the main events that is KNOWN to be great around here - the Spring Harbor Hop. Keep reading this week's blog to learn all about it. Event Name: Spring Harbor Hop

Event Date: May 1, 2021

Event Location: All Across The Lake of the Ozarks

Event Details: 

Here is how it works:

  1. Enter the Harbor Hop by stopping at any of the checkpoints. To obtain a hand, sign up and pay an optional $20.00 donation (per seven-card hand). 
  2. A player may enter more than once. 
  3. The 1st card is drawn at the checkpoint where the hand is purchased; 6 additional cards are obtained by "hopping" to six more checkpoints drawing one card, per hand, at each location. 
  4. The hand is complete when the 7th card is drawn. 
  5. An optional 8th Bonus card can be drawn for an additional $5. 
  6. The completed hand is turned in at the checkpoint where the 7th card is drawn. 
  7. To qualify, a hand must be turned in by 7:00 p.m. the day of Harbor Hop. 
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Winners will be notified by mail. Prizes are based on entry donations. The Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau will retain 60% for administering the program and promoting Lake of the Ozarks. Forty percent will be paid to the participants in the form of gift certificates.
  • This event is sponsored by The Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau, Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association and the Lakes Waterfront Restaurants.
  • Please check back at www.FunLake.com closer to the event date for a full list of check point locations.

Prize Allocations:

  • 1st Place: 10%
  • 2nd Place: 9%
  • 3rd Place: 8%
  • 4th Place: 7% each
  • 5th - 10th Place: 5% each
  • 4 Worst Hands: 4% each
  • Random Drawing for 10 Hands: 2% each

(all ties will share the allocated percentage for the placing)
