3 Free Things To Do At The Lake in The Fall

1. Hiking at Ha Ha Tonka
Fall is the perfect time to go hiking at one of the best state parks in Missouri, Ha Ha Tonka! Not only is the weather FANTASTIC, not too hot and not too cold. Ha Ha Tonka holds some of the best views around and you will not be disappointed. In addition to some of the best Lake views, you will have the pleasure of exploring the ruins of a turn-of-the-century castle. Ha Ha Tonka is also home to Missouri’s 12th largest spring! Best of all, it won't cost you a PENNY to go hiking here with your family! For more information on Ha Ha Tonka, visit https://mostateparks.com/park/ha-ha-tonka-state-park.

2. Sight Seeing at the Bagnell Dam
The Bagnell Dam was completed back in 1931 by Union Electric Light and Power. This dam is what started the Lake of the Ozarks and is quite the historical sight to see! There is an overlook at the Bagnell Dam that gives you an AMAZING view to check out. Again, this is another fantastic activity you can try at the Lake of the Ozarks that is completely free of charge.

3. Exploring at Willmore Lodge
Willmore Lodge is the PERFECT place to take your kids if you want to teach them about some of the rich histories behind the Lake of the Ozarks! This museum was once housing for the workers who build the Bagnell Dam back in the late 20s/early 30s. It now serves as a museum, home to the Chamber of Commerce, visitors center, and an event venue. It is also one hundred percent free to visit the museum. For more information, please visit http://www.willmorelodge.com.
