Event Details: 

  • This is located at the 33MM-34.5MM. 
  • Top powerboat racers and offshore racing powerboats from across the country, topping 200 MPH will be at this fantastic boating event.
  • This is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators. 
  • The proceeds raised will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams and other charitable organizations! 

There are Shootout events happening all week leading up to the main event. These events include:

From Kansas City:

  1. Take I-70-E to exit 78A to merge onto US-65 S toward Sedalia
  2. Continue on US-65 through Sedalia to the Cole Camp exit, turn left onto MO-52
  3. Follow MO-52 to Versailles and turn right (at intersection) onto Hwy 5 *(see alt. route)
  4. Continue on Hwy 5 to Sunrise Beach
  5. Turn left onto Lake Rd 5-50, take another left to Captain Ron’s

Alternate route:

  1. Follow MO-52 to Stover and turn right at 135
  2. Continue on Hwy 135 to Hwy 5
  3. Turn right on Hwy 5 to Sunrise Beach
  4. Turn left onto Lake Rd 5-50, take another left to Captain Ron’s

From St. Louis:

  1. Take I-70 towards O’Fallon
  2. Continue on I-70 towards Booneville
  3. Turn left on Hwy 5 and follow to Tipton
  4. Turn right at Stoplight in Tipton onto Hwy 5
  5. Follow Hwy 5 to Versailles
  6. Turn right onto Hwy 5 at Versailles
  7. Follow Hwy 5 to Sunrise Beach
  8. Turn left on Lake Road 5-50, take another left to Captain Ron’s
